[!Important] In previous posts, we have talked server-side anticheat which may cause players to be kicked. As of right now, it seems these changes don’t affect us currently, but they may soon in the future.

We have an option in game to automatically post lobbies to the Discord Server. To enable, go into the new custom lotus-themed options menu. Under Ventlib Tab, you will see an option that says: “Open Room to Discovery” Upon remaking your lobby, you should see it in the PL Automatic Lobbies Thread.

New Additions

Rebellious (Modifier)

The Rebellious is a modifier similar to Rogue. However, unlike Rogue gaining the ability to kill, Rebellious will turn the player into a madmate. They will still keep their original role’s ability too! Since they are sided with the Impostors, they are declared as an enemy to the crewmates now. As a result, roles such as Snitch might out the Rebellious.

Changed Snitch to where it can no longer see Neutrals that are impostor and can’t kill
Changed Forced Subroles to be assigned after main roles (fixes a lot of issues)
Changed Jailor to no longer suicide on executing Copycat

Bug Fixes

Fixed Neutral Factions (Jackal) not being allied to other players of the same team (Sidekick)
Fixed Issues with Copycat & Amalgamation not seeing teammates
Fixed An Error with Investigator that appears
Fixed Archangel not changing roles on exile
Fixed Bugs with Main Menu

Known Bugs

Rarely, players may blackscreen at the start of the game or after meeting. The cause of this is usually ping.
Sometimes, Mastermind may still kill you even if you already killed someone else.
Rarely, players may be teleported into walls. The cause of this is usually roles like Escapist where you mark positions too close to walls.
Rarely when shapeshifting, players might still have their original name.
Romantic’s win-condition may bug out sometimes, meaning you won’t win with your partner.
Players cannot sabotage Crash Course on Airship.
Most translations aren’t 100% complete.

For The Future

This release is just a preview of what’s to come—we’re still actively developing new features and improvements. Here is list of things we plan to include in the future.

If you are developer, you can actually add your own content without modifying PL! We have added support for addons, and you can learn more info at this GitHub Repo! You can check out addons made by others from the #community-content forum channel.
