Migrating from other mods

General Information

All other mods are vastly different to Project: Lotus, so here’s a few things to note.

Hosting.

The template system used in Project: Lotus is vastly different to templates in other host-only mods, so you’ll have to either:

  1. Convert your current templates to Project: Lotus’ Format, you can do this using a Command in our Discord Server
  2. Use the Default Templates included in Project: Lotus.
  3. You can also remake your own templates for PL!

You’ll basically have to re-setup everything, settings and all. Templates are the only thing you’ll be able to bring over from other mods.

Note: If you really want to up your hosting game, read more about our Templates! You can do stuff like making custom commands (Ex: /t rules becomes /rules.)

Gameplay

The Gameplay honestly depends on the amount of roles you have enabled. It’ll either be quite different or pretty similar to your old experience depending on that.

Depending on the mod you’re coming from, we may not have all the roles you liked in your previous mod, but we’ll be adding more and more over time!

Some Notes:

  • Make sure to configure your Minimum and Maximum Neutral Passive/Neutral Killing!
  • If you’re confused about any of the Lotus Settings, make sure to check out In-Game Options in Features, they explain all the options!
